Saying What’s on My Mind

I have to confess that having to tell someone something that they didn’t want to hear or would disagree with made me feel very uncomfortable.  In fact, I avoided saying what was on my mind for a long time, especially when it might upset the other party. I may have prevented conflict on the outside but I certainly created conflict within myself. Not anymore. I say what’s on my mind and wait for the fireworks which for the most part have been a spark at best.
